How the Water Stays Clean
The water circulates continuously through Nordic Tub’s external, high-performance cooling unit, which maintains a stable temperature of 3 °C year after year. The closed-loop circulation system reduces bacterial growth and keeps the water fresh between changes.
For personal use, it's usually enough to change the water about once a month. Maintenance is minimal.

How cold should the water be—and how long should you take an ice bath?
Most people experience the best results at around 5°C, but our ice baths can be set as low as 0°C, and the Generation 5 goes up to 8°C, while our Generation 4S and Nordic Tub reach as high as 40°C... - But for beginners: start at a higher temperature, around 8 °C, and keep your sessions short. Then work your way down to 2–4 minutes at 4–5 °C, and try doing this 3–4 times a week—and please let us know how you feel!
Is there an app available that lets you control it?
Yes. All of our products can be controlled via our app—set the temperature, use the timer functions, and have full control right from your phone.
Should the ice bath stay on the whole time?
No, that's not necessary. Use the timer function in the app, or an external timer that we can include with your order—that way, the system will rest overnight. Set it to start in the morning, and the water will be really cold again within an hour at most.
Is the ice bath difficult to install?
Not at all—all of our ice baths come ready to use. Just fill them with water, plug them into a standard electrical outlet, and set the desired temperature. That's it.
Do you offer leasing or rental options?
Yes. We offer both financing/leasing with a fixed monthly payment and rental plans for commercial customers. Contact our sales team, and we’ll find the right solution for you or your business.
How long is the warranty?
A 1-year warranty is included as standard, with the option to extend it up to 5 years. Contact your sales representative for more information.
