How the calculator works
Total cost = purchase + shipping and installation + number of years × (kWh per operating day × operating days per year × electricity price + filter + service + water and other maintenance per year) − residual value.
Number of dips = dips per week × 52 × number of years. Cost per dip = total cost / number of dips. The calculator uses constant prices and usage. Financing, price increases, and unexpected repairs are only included if you add them to the cost fields.
Any comparison uses the same number of visits and shows only costs. Electricity consumption depends on factors including model, climate, location, temperature, and usage.
