Here's how the calculation works

Total cost = purchase price + shipping and installation + number of years × (kWh per operating day × operating days per year × electricity price + filters + service + water and other maintenance per year) − residual value.

Number of swims = swims per week × 52 × number of years. Cost per swim = total cost / number of swims. The calculation uses constant prices and usage. Financing, price increases, and unexpected repairs are only included if you add them to the cost fields.

Any comparison uses the same number of visits and shows only costs. Electricity consumption depends on factors such as model, climate, location, temperature, and usage.
